We operate a standard weekly billing schedule. E-invoices are generated on Mondays covering the preceding Monday–Sunday rota, with full digital timesheet sign-offs attached. Standard commercial credit terms are 14 days BACS for single-site care homes and 30 days for corporate multi-site operators and NHS trusts upon credit approval.
Under HMRC VAT Notice 701/2 (Welfare Services), direct care provision provided to residential care homes, supported living facilities, and vulnerable individuals is generally exempt from VAT. Registered Nursing agency services may also qualify for medical care exemptions. All rate cards quoted above are exclusive of VAT where exempt; your tailored proposal will explicitly detail VAT treatment under current HMRC guidelines.
We recognize that care home bed occupancy and resident census fluctuate. You can cancel any scheduled agency shift with at least 4 hours’ notice prior to shift start with zero cancellation fee. Shifts cancelled with less than 4 hours’ notice incur a standard 4-hour standby charge to fairly reimburse the dispatched care worker.
Unlike traditional recruitment agencies that penalize care homes with £3,500 – £6,000 finder fees, BCP champions workforce retention. Any care worker or nurse placed via our Dedicated Continuity Care Pod tier for 16 consecutive weeks may be hired directly onto your permanent payroll with zero transfer penalty (£0.00).
