Healthcare Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalised care to patients in a home or community setting.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the well-being of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a healthcare assistant or similar role.
- Completion of a recognised healthcare assistant training programme.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.

Salary:Rate from £12 - £13 per hour (dependant on qualifications)
